Etched Nameplates

PhotoEtch’s Stainless Steel and Brass NamePlates offer a superior solution for permanent labeling needs.

Stainless Steel Nameplates

Made from 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, these plates boast remarkable resistance to corrosion, extreme temperatures, and various chemicals. Additionally, they exhibit exceptional strength, are easy to clean, and possess an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Marking Methods

To ensure long-lasting designs, our Stainless Steel plates undergo a chemical etching process that engraves the image into the metal surface to a depth of approximately 0.25mm. This produces a clear and legible image. If desired, the etched image can be color-filled using enamel paint. We offer the flexibility to use multiple colors for paint filling and can closely match PMS colors for branding requirements. The advantage of our method is that the decoration fills the etched portion of the material, making it highly resistant to surface abrasion, chipping, or scratching compared to conventional surface-printed metal plates.
